The Theater 'Dasvinzenz' deals with advertising in its world premiere “The Black Stone”.
This evening contains advertising. And that's exactly what it's about. In its world premiere of “The Black Stone” on Tuesday, February 8, Theater Dasvinzenz is looking at texts, films and images that are intended to get as many people as possible excited about it, and promises: “A play, only with texts that have already existed before: Bigger. Better.”
Director Cornelia Maschner wants to explore how the meaning of advertising has changed. While advertising was more of a necessary evil with the advent of private television, it has now become the entertainment in itself, she believes. Influencers' videos are clicked because of the advertising, the viewers' perspective has changed.
Together with five actresses and an actor, Maschner brings her thoughts to the stage at Mucca 31.
